Biography – Patrick Harris
PATRICK HARRIS: Executive Vice President Business Development
Patrick Harris is the Executive Vice President Business Development and cofounder of MAP. Prior to starting MAP Harris was the founder and Chief Executive Office of HMG Aviation Inc. Established in 1996 HMG Aviation focused on new business development and asset management including restructuring distressed aircraft financing transactions.
Harris developed client relationships with Air Jamaica, Bahamas Air, BWIA and Magellan Group as well as some of the leading law firms in North America.
In the late 1980's he founded IBA Group, a consultancy firm, which has since become of the largest advisory firms in its field.
Harris previously worked in a senior capacity for Grindlays Bank, which is now part of Australia and New Zealand Bank and also with Chemical Bank.
Harris was Vice President Marketing for IACO where he specialised in structuring tax based cross border financing transactions for parties such as McDonald Douglas, Air Inter, Dan-Air, Air Afrique, Zambia Airways and American Express.
Throughout his career Harris has worked more than $2 billion of aircraft related transactions in an advisory and trading capacity.
He began his career with GPA, as Director of Research and which is now part of GE Capital Aviation Services.
